Joey is originally from Austin, Texas and
recently moved to Santa Fe to finish his
degree at Santa Fe University of Art and
Design where he is studying Business Arts Management. Joey was thrilled to be included as a part of the CineFesta Italia team as a student intern (our "Tuttofare") in 2016. This year, to our delight, he returns to take on more responsibilities as Events & Volunteer Coordinator.

Luca is a director & producer. In 2004
he founded Santa Fe based HDNM
Entertainment, LLC, where his passion for production helped him quickly climb ranks from building development strategies, schedules & budgets to line producing & producing scripted television & film productions in New Mexico. Recognized as a local business leader, he was invited to sit on Mayor Coss’ Business & Quality of Life Committee to help bolster film production in northern New Mexico, where he spearheaded ShootSantaFe. He was founding president of the New Mexico Post Alliance (NMPA). Raised in Rome, Italy, he moved to Santa Fe in 1994, and currently resides in Los Angeles where he runs the HDNM shingle, EDGYpictures.LA.

Hon. Rosalba Maniaci
Italian Consular agent of
Born in Palermo, Sicily, Rosalba Maniaci
came to America in 1956. Building a life
in New York, she met and then married Joseph Maniaci in 1963, starting a business and raising two wonderful children. In 1974, when opportunities arose, the Maniaci family moved to New Mexico, eagerly seeking out and becoming involved with the local Italian community. As longtime members of the Italian Cultural Club, the Sons of Italy, and Italian American Association Mrs. Maniaci had an opportunity to serve in leadership roles in these organizations. She has served as President, Treasurer, and Board Member for the Sons of Italy and as President, Chairman of the Board, and is currently a Board Member for the Italian Cultural Club. She also has held teaching posts at the Santa Fe Community College and University of New Mexico Continuing Education in Albuquerque, teaching business courses in fashion design. In 2009, Mrs. Maniaci was honored by her appointment by the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles as Corrispondente Consolare (Representative) for the State of New Mexico, an appointment she is privileged to continue in currently. Because of her work in preserving and promoting Italian culture and language in the state, Mrs. Maniaci was recognized in 2012 by the Southwest Conference on Language Teaching with the Friend of the Profession Award.

in Europe and NY, Peggy became a licensed real estate professional in 1988 in Santa Fe, NM. She is an active community member, has sat on the Santa Fe Opera Board, was a Big Sister for many years, and worked with the Santa Fe Rape Crisis Center as an advocate.

As the current Marketing Manager of Keller Williams Realty Santa Fe, she has made a name for herself designing advertisements for local Real Estate Magazines and other media outlets. Melisa has always been creatively driven and is able to express this through Marketing and Graphic Design.

Pictures. She lives in Santa Fe and divides
her time among screenwriting, picture development & producing and also provides website design & other business start-up services.

Born in a small Italian village, Nesso, on
Lago di Como, Lino comes from a family
that has, for generations, been trained
and employed in the finest restaurants
and grand hotels of Southern Europe. Following his formal training, summer internships, and positions in some of Europe's finest hotels and restaurants, Lino arrived in Santa Fe in 1976. He has owned several restaurants in NM, including the Palace Restaurant & Saloon, the Stakeout Grill & Bar, Osteria d'Assisi, and Pizzeria da Lino. Annually, Lino returns to his home on Lago d’Como to relax and keep abreast of the latest innovations in Italian cuisine at exemplary restaurants in the area.
In 1997, Lino was awarded the Croce di Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Repubblica Italiana by the President of Italy, in recognition of his role as ambassador for the preservation of Italian gastronomy and culture in the world. In 2014, he was designated il Console Onorario d'Italia in Santa Fe, which has resulted in the establishment of the first Consulate of Italy in Santa Fe.
