CineFesta Italia in Santa Fe began in 2014 as an arm of our now sister film festival, the NM Italian Film & Culture Festival. Independent as of 2016, CineFesta Italia takes great pride in showcasing the most talked about voices of contemporary Italian cinema. Our carefully curated selection of feature films, shorts and docs represents notable works otherwise only screened in a handful of select markets, such as Los Angeles, New York and Europe… and now in the oldest capital in the USA, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Whether a special night out or four spectacular days of cinema and culture, we invite you to immerse yourself in the food, colors, sounds and people of the land we all love. Join us for an exclusive touch of Italia in the heart of old Santa Fe.
This April we come together to celebrate what Italy does best: la dolce vita!
CineFesta Italia is an annual event of films, food and culture to benefit local charities. In 2018, as in 2017 and 2016, Santa Fe beneficiaries are "Cooking with Kids" and "Communities in Schools of NM at Santa Fe”.
The events are a collaboration between Italian government agencies, non-profit organizations and businesses to bring a unique presentation of film and food to the public while helping these great charities.
CineFesta Italia in Santa Fe is organized as a
501(c)(3) and enjoys the help of many dedicated volunteers and the Italian Consulate offices of New Mexico.
CineFesta Italia raises awareness of Italian culture through an annual Italian Film Festival, delighting moviegoers with contemporary and emerging Italian cinema. Our proceeds help our charitable partners support Santa Fe’s neediest children in today’s challenging world.
